Materials
These are the materials I use to handcraft my unique leather pieces.

Leather 2.2-2.5mm
Full Grain Natural
A material known for its durability and unique aging process, crafted using tannins from natural sources like tree bark. This traditional, eco-friendly method results in a product that develops a rich patina over time. It's a popular choice for high-quality, long-lasting, and valued for its natural look and distinct aroma.
This is how all of my tooled leather pieces begin their journey.

Leather 1.2-1.4mm
Badalassi Carlo Wax
A pure vegetable tanned leather produced on shoulders. The leather is tanned in a wooden drum using oils and animal fats, through dyed and polished with a roll of amber stone. The wax is added during the tannage process to provide a distinct pull-up effect.
One of my favourite pull-up leathers for creating pieces that require no tooling.

Leather 2.0-2.2mm
Country Cow
A Vegetable Re-Tanned, heavy weight, waxy pull up leather. The hides are tanned within Europe on heavy Ox hides. Widely known as a 'Crazy Horse' type of leather.
One of my favourite pull-up leathers for creating pieces that require no tooling.

Thread 0.8mm
Tiger Thread
The Ritza 25 thread, also known as Tiger thread, is only suitable for hand sewing due to its synthetic wax coating.
Known for its quality and durability, this is an extremely strong, braided polyester thread that is waxed for hand sewing.
This is my favourite thread for any of my hand-stitched pieces.

Thread 0.4mm
Mara 30
A range from Gütermann, specifically known for its use in topstitching and other applications requiring a strong, visible stitch. It's a two-strand, 100% polyester thread, known for its strength, abrasion resistance, and shiny finish.
This is my go to thread for my Juki-1541 sewing machine.
