A handmade Zodiac Full-Grain leather deck available in two versions; Full Set and Compact.
The completed set is so satisfying to handle. I just like shuffling them around and stacking them - Which is a totally unintended but oddly satisfying use. For those who like ASMR, the sound of fidgeting with the deck is very relaxing. I'd love to know how you use this deck.
Inspiration
The original idea of this deck was to be a quick-to-make offering. However, due to the attention to detail and the quantity of leather pieces that needs processing, it's the most time consuming piece that I offer.

Variations
- Full Set: All twelve zodiac symbols. On the reverse of each card are tags and other related tags. This is how I envisioned the complete set.
- Compact: All twelve zodiac symbols (with dates), merged into six cards.
How it's made
The decorative front is made from full grain 5oz (2.5mm) vegetable tanned leather. I've carefully dyed, antiqued, and finished it to achieve a rich, oaky sheen that enhances its natural beauty. Custom design stamps are carefully pressed into the leather to emboss both text and symbols - Each representing tags for each zodiac sign.
The reverse side features full grain 5oz (2.5mm) vegetable tanned leather, also dyed, antiqued, and finished to complement the front. The full set has zodiac information embossed into it, whereas the compact set the same layout as the front, but with a different zodiac symbol.
To bring the two pieces of leather together, they are adhered with water-based contact cement. The edges are carefully hand-painted in leather acrylic paint for both visual appearance and protection. This meticulous process not only ensures the mat's longevity but also highlights the quality of the piece.

- The colour of your leather piece may differ slightly from what you see on your screen.
- Due to the dyeing process, the colour may vary slightly depending on the area of the leather.
- As full-grain leather undergoes minimal processing, natural wrinkles may remain visible and their patterns can vary from piece to piece.
- With natural leather, some blemishes are to be expected, though I always do my best to keep these to a minimum.

Made-to-order items take approximately 7-10 working days to produce. The production process involves multiple stages, including tooling, dyeing, and antiquing, which require 2-3 days of drying time before assembly and packaging.
